Every Year, the University of Illinois at Chicago hosts a lecture series dedicated to the legendary artist Frank Armitage, a “visual genius” whose work spans the background paintings of Disney’s animated classics, The Fantastic Voyage, medical artwork for Life Magazine, and more. As a 2010 alumnus of the Biomedical Visualization Graduate Program, I was invited to share my post-graduate experiences and NYU research at the gathering in a 45-minute talk (see video below).
